feedback here is the instructor’s way to get to know your own understanding of the material. Grading

here is independent of that for the class project.

(a) Please draw the complete ER/EER diagram using the ER/EER approach that we learned in the CLP class sessions and in the lecture-note PowerPoint file for your own project case, clearly indicating

the entities and relationships. For each entity, please include the entity name and all the candidate

key attributes (underlined) in the diagram. For each relationship, please include the relationship

name and the cardinality ratios between itself and each of its participating entities. (You do not have

to list all the non-key attributes of the entities here.)

Please paste the diagram to your homework document, so that the diagram is directly visible

without having to click on any link or icon. This is because your homework will be printed on

paper for grading. Any necessary further clicking may lead to the diagram not being graded.

Thank you for your co-operation.

(b) For each entity, if all the underlined key attributes form more than one possible set of candidate keys, please clearly indicate all the different possible candidate keys separately in text outside the ER/EER diagram. For example:

Entity: STUDENT

Candidate Key Set 1: Student_ID

Candidate Key Set 2: the combination of Student_Nameand Student_Addr

If none of the entities have more than one set of candidate keys, then state so explicitly. (c) BONUS: Please use a documentation table to document the attributes of EACH entity: attribute name, data type, and cardinalities. Please also give one sample attribute value. For example:

(d) BONUS: For EACH relationship, if it has an attribute (other than the key values of its participating entities which are implicit), please state each attribute name, attribute data type, and attribute cardinalities. Please give one sample attribute value. Please use a documentation table. An example is given below.

Please answer each question properly with the relevant answer and at the proper level of detail, as stated in eachquestion. If a question asks for a particular thing and a student gives a whole bunch of things that contains that one answer (for the instructor to choose), this is equivalent to not answering the question at all.
