In an effort to reduce costs and improve patient satisfaction scores (thus hopefully improving revenue in the long run), Hope General Hospital embarked on an ambitious, six-month project that included patient and staff educational components and a large, time-consuming data collection effort. In your role as an administrative fellow, you have been asked to assist the executive team in understanding and using the data based upon a sample of patients that were readmitted under the same diagnosis. A small portion of the data has been collected and assembled in the file named HGH2016.xlsx.
