out to guide you into determining if the website has the quality to be
used in a research project. Go to each website and score it using the
C.R.A.A.P. Test Worksheet.

Use the following list to help you
evaluate sources. Answer the questions as appropriate, and then rank
each of the 5 parts from 1 to 10 (1 = unreliable, 10 = excellent). Add
up the scores to give you an idea of whether you should you use the
resource in a research project.

After giving your website a score:
Explain why you gave the scores you
did for each of the 5 areas. If it was low score or if it was a high
score, which of the questions for that area was most important and why.
For example you might have given your website a low score for Purpose. This might be because the information was more opinions that fact and the purpose of the site was not clear.
Tip: to do well on
this assignment, just follow the example on the previous page of the Dr.
King website for each of the 3 websites here and you will do fine.
