Blackout Poetry — Creative Writing

For this activity, create your own blackout poem. You can use a newspaper, magazine, or an article that you printed from an online article. Once you finish your blackout poem, take a picture of it, and post it as an attachment on this assignment. Make sure that it is readable in the photo. You might have to attach more than one photo.

This poem will probably be shorter than the ten line poems in the other activities. If you decide you want to include it as part of the major poetry assignment or your portfolio, you can do three or four blackout poems, or you can use this as a jumping off point to create a longer, more developed poem. For this activity though, short is fine. I am more interested in you creating something unique and interesting.
